BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe – Rendered
The BMW 4 Series family will add one more member in 2014. The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe is a premium compact model based on the 3 Series architecture and the 6 Series Gran Coupe idea.
The four-door sport and compact vehicle will compete with the Mercedes-Benz CLS CLA and is built under the F36 codename. BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe follows the same design principles, at a smaller scale, as the recently launched 6 Series Gran Coupe. The four-door features a longer rear window that flows into a conventional trunk, a design feature that visually increases the side dimension of the car.

From the side, the rendering shows a stretched and dynamic design that will not only give the car a more premium look but it will also offer more interior room for passengers.
The packages, options and powertrains are expected to be almost identical to the 4 Series Coupe and convertible models.
BMW aims to launch the 4 Series Gran Coupe in the second half of 2014.
